Ms Suzanne Beecher

Ms Suzanne Beecher is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon at Cork University Hospital and South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, Cork.

She has interests in breast reconstruction, skin cancer and breast & abdominal aesthetic surgery.

Ms Beecher studied medicine in National University of Ireland, Galway, where she obtained a first class honours degree. She then completed core surgical training, whilst simultaneously completing a Masters in Surgery from NUI Galway. She then entered higher surgical training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, where she gained experience from plastic surgery units in Cork, Dublin & Galway. During this time she also completed a second Masters degree, an MSc in Reconstructive Microsurgery from Queen Mary University in London. She was awarded FRCS(plast) in 2021. After training in Ireland, she completed a fellowship in microvascular reconstruction at Imperial College Healthcars Trust in London. She then returned to Cork as a permanent Consultant in 2023. She was appointed as the lead to develop the breast reconstruction service in CUH. She is a member of the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons.

Ms Beecher's main sub-speciality interests are microvascular breast reconstruction and breast reduction surgery. She also has an interest in breast & body contouring sugery, as well as skin lesions and non-melanoma skin cancer.

Ms Beecher does not offer facial aesthetic surgery, hand surgery, sarcoma or melanoma surgery, or surgery to under 18 years old, in her private clinic rooms.
