Consultant Urologist at Cork University Hospital (CUH) and University Hospital Waterford (UHW), 2017. Graduated in medicine from University College Dublin (UCD), 2000. Internship at St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin, and basic surgical training at CUH. Awarded a Masters of Surgery (MCh), 2007 through the Conway Institute, UCD after undertaking laboratory based research in prostate cancer.

Higher specialist urological training carried out in Ireland through the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI). Subspecialty training in Australia, clinical fellowship training in laparoscopy and robotic surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, 2012. Appointed Consultant Urologist at the Western General Hospital(WGH), Edinburgh, UK, specialising in prostate and kidney cancer, before returning to Ireland in 2017.

Clinical Interests: Urology, Benign prostate diseases, Kidney cancer, Prostate Cancer, Bladder Cancer, Haematuria, Scrotal lumps, Urinary tract infections, Stone disease.
