Completed a Fellowship in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery in Melbourne, Australia.
Appointed Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon in CUH and Senior Lecturer in Surgery in UCC in 2010.

Special Interest: Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery (including familial and screen detected cancers), Pelvic Floor disorders (faecal incontinence, prolapse, constipation), Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy, Laparoscopic Inguinal and Incisional Hernia repair, Anal Fistulae, and Transanal Dearterialisation of haemorrhoids. Also provides a service in General Paediatric Surgery.
